V. RESOLUTIONS Special Note: At the start of the Town Board Meeting the Supervisor will invite the public to speak on the following resolutions. ll//Accept, with regret, the resignation of Blanch K. Katz from the Board of Ethics. 2v//Authorize and direct Town Clerk Judith T. Terry to advertise for a member of the Southold Town Board of Ethics. 3t~Amend resolution no. 7, adopted on April 19, 1994, establishing the number of days worked for elected and appointed officials with regard to the Receiver of Taxes. 4~Rescind resolution no. 24, adopted on March 19, 1996, accepting the resignation of Linda Knoemschild a~ she has reconsidered her decision and decided to stay in her current position. 51//Rescind resolution no. 42, adopted on March 19, 1996, authorizing Town Clerk Judith T. Terry to advertise for resumes for a part-time Clerk Typist for the Recreation Department. 67 Appoint Pamela J. Dunn as a part-time Public Safety Dispatcher, effective immediately. 7v~Authorize establishment of Capital Project for the purchase of a 1997 Ford F-800 truck with aerial lift device and line body. 8r/ Grant permission to Supervisor Cochran and Councilwoman Hussie to attend the ELI Executives Business Roundtable dinner meeting. 9/Authorize and direct Supervisor Cochran to execute a contract with Stanley Skrezec to demolish an unsafe structure at 46000 Main Road, Southold. RESOLUTIONS - Cont. 1 O/Grant permission to the American Diabetes Association to use certain Town roads for their fii~h annual Tour de Cure cycling event on June 30, 1996. 1 l~'/Amend resolution no. 36, adopted on March 19, 1996, appointing part-time Public Safety Dispatchers, by deleting the name of Anneen M. McCann who has declined the position. 12/Authorize Lawrence Healthcare Administrative Services, Inc. to pay a medical bill that was submitted by the medical provider more than 90 days aider the date of service. 13/Grant the Greenport S oi~ball League a grant from Recreation Department funds for the payment of the light bill at the Polo Field, Greenport. 14/Request the Suffolk County Department of Public Works to conduct a traffic survey of Route 48 and Wicldaam Avenue, Mattituck, for the purpose of installing a lei~ turn signal. 15~Rescind resolution no. 7, adopted on February 22, 1996, and resolution no. l, adopted on March 19, 1996, grant permission to Data Control Supervisor Ruland to attend a training course and a computer management meeting, as she is leaving her position June 5, 1996. 16~//Authorize a modification to Solid Waste Management District 1996 Budget to cover salary of part-time office assistant. 13F/Accept the bid of James H. Rainbo, Inc. for the replacement of Brushes Creek Bridge. 18v//Grant penrfissi~h to Councilwoman Hussie and Solid Waste Coordinator Bunchuck to attend a seminar entitled "Composting: Its Role as a Waste Management Strategy on Long Island" in Riverhead on April 9, 1996. 19l~Authorize budget modification to the General Fund - Whole Town 1996 budget to appropriate Park & Playground funds for the purchas of volleyball nets. 20.~Authofize establishment of Capital Project for the purchase of a pickup truck for the Solid Waste Management District. 21 ~/~Authorize establishment of Capital Project for the purchase of a box trailer for the Solid Waste Management District. 22/Authorize and direct Supervisor Cochran to execute an agreement with Jessie H. lackson and Frances R. Meyer to the position of Account Clerk for the Solid Waste Management District, effective April 22, 1996. 30~Authorize and direct Supervisor Cochran to execute Amendment #2 to the agreement with the State of New York, Office of Mental Retardation and Development Disabilities for the 100% Day Training Contract. 3 lv//Create salary scale for Home Health Aide, subject to current CSEA negotiations. 32V/Authorize and direct Supervisor Cochran to execute a Memorandum of Understanding, Nonfinancial Agreement with the SC Department of Labor for the Job Opportunities and Basic Skills Program. 33~Authorize a modification to the Southold Wastewater Disposal District 1996 budget to reallocate previously unallocated budgets into more detailed line items. 347~Grant permission to the Solid Waste Management District to purchase one pickup truck. 35~/~Approve promotion of Carolyn Smith from position of Mini-Bus Driver to Home Health Aide. 36/Adopt a policy regarding trailer permits. / 37/Renew one trailer permit and grant a new trailer permit for John and Joan Callaban, both permits to expire in six months after which trailer must be removed from the premises.
