WPS Consulting Engineers survey and recommendation study for
Human Resource Center.

V. RESOLUTIONS
Special Note: At this time the Supervisor will invite the public to speak
out on the following resolutions.
1/ Resolved that the Town Board authorizes the Town Clerk to advertise
for bids for specified items.
2V/ Resolved that the Town Board accepts the resignation of Susan M.
Ravenhall as a School Cross Guard.
3/ Resolved that the Town Board modifies the General Fund Whole Town
1995 Budget to tlmnsfer code supplement appropriations.
4/Resolved that the Town Board appoints Frank Lyburt as a School
Crossing Guard for the Mattituck School post and as a P/T TCO
through 1996 at which time he will assume the F/T duties of a Traffic
Control Officer.
5/Resolved that the Town B6ard authorizes the closure of Case's Lane,
Cutchogne, on Saturdays, October 7 and 10, 1995 from 9 AM to 4:30
PM.
6~'/ Resolved that the Town Board modifies the General Fund Part Town
1995 Budget to provide fund for attorney's fees.
7/ Resolved that the Town Board accepts the bid of Miller Environmental
Group, Inc. Calverton for providing and installing a Water Treatment
Systems at the Human resource Center.
8/ Resolved that the Town Board authorizes the Supervisor to execute
agreements with specified individuals for the 1995 Fall Recreation
Program.
9/ Resolved that the Town Board authorizes Peter Bee of the Law firm of
Bee and Eisman to represent the Town in court proceedings pert~n~n~
to the police hiring civil service list.
10/Resolved that the Town Board grants permission to PSD III John
jAR~]ynor _to attend the annual NYS Disaster Preparedness Conference in
Dally bept. 10-13, 1995.
II--Resolved that the Town board authorizes Data Control Supervisor
Jeanne Ruland and data Equipment Operator Mark Gajowski to attend
an Advanced AS/400 Applications seminar at IBM Jericho on Tuesday,
September 12, 1995.
12~Resolved that the Town Board reduces the prices of various books
pertaining to the Town of Southold.
13/Resolved that the Town Board authorizes a budget modification to the
General Fund Whole Town 1995 Budget to cover costs incurred through
the YouTh Scholarship Program.

14/Resolved that the Town Board authorizes the Town Clerk to advertise
for School Crossing Guards.

for a P/T Records Management Clerk.

16~/ Resolved that the Town Board appoints Scott A. Hilary to the
Conservation Advisory Council.
17~/Resolved that the Town Board modifies the Generi Fund whole Town
1995 Budget to fund the Uniforms and Accessories line in the Police
budget for the remainder of 1995.
18/Resolved that the Town Board authorizes the firms of Aerographics,
Geomaps, and Van Tuyl, PC, to perform the work necessary to produce
a topographical map of the Cutehogue Landfill.
19/Resolved that the Town Board authorizes a modification of the Solid
Waste Management District 1995 Budget to provide funds for a new
topographical map of the landfill property.
20~l~esolved that the Town Board appoints Keith Bowker as a P/T Gate
Attendant at the Disposal Area.
21/Resolved that the Town Board modifies General Fund Whole Town 1995
Budget to provide sufficient appropriations for the payment of
accumulated leave time for two recently retired employees under the
terms of the CSEA collective bargaining agreement.
Resolved that the Town Board authorizes the Town Clerk to advertise
for resumes for a P/T EISEP Aide.

Resolved that the Town Board accepts the bid of Capitol Highway
Materials, Inc. for fabricating and furnishing all parts and materials
required for the complete assembly of an aluminum structural plate box
,[~lvert for the replacement of the Brushes Creek Bridge.
24~esolved that the Town Board authorizes the Supervisor to execute an
agreement between the County Dept. of Public Works and the Town for
the installation of traffic control devices at Cry. Rte. 48, Middle
Road and Horton Lane.
25/Resolved that the Town Board authorizes the Town Clerk advertise for
bids for the purchase of 500 tones of Bulk Ice Control Rock Salt for
the Superintendent of Highways.

29~/ Resolved that the Town Board authorizes the Supervisor to execute an
agreement between the Town of Southold and Smart SMR of New York,
Inc. D/B/A Nex~el Communicar/cns for the lease of space on the
commun/ca%ions tower in Peconic.
27/Resolved that the Town Board authorizes a budget modification to the
Highway Fund Whole Town t995 Budget.
28/ Resolved that the Town Board accepts the bid of Can-Co Org~uization,
Inc. to install new chiller retrofit and remove and replace ex/sting
fiberglass insidation in the east end of Town Hall.
29/Town Board refers "A Local Law in Relation to Members of the
Architectural Review Committee to the Southold Town Planning Board
and the Suffolk County Department of Planning.
30~esolved that the Town Board creates a Data Entry Operator position.
31~l~esolved that the Town Board change the title of Patricia Gareick from
Clerk Typist to Data Entry Operator.
