POLICY: At scheduled Town Board meeting, the attending public is
encouraged to briefly address the Town Board relating to agenda resolutions
prior to their enactment; the public will also be given time at the
conclusion of the regularly scheduled business agenda to address the Board
on any given topic.

3047.37(a)(31) of Department's Regulations is added establishing a "No
Stopping Anytime" restriction west and east of Lands End Road, Orient.
2. Public Notice from US Army Corps of Engineers, NY Dist. re: new
nationwide permit for the development of single-family homes and
attendant features in the Federal Register of July 27, 1995, effective
Sept. 25, 1995.
3. Public Notice from NYS DEC, Notice of Complete Application of Michael
Slade to construct 135' of bulkhead in line with adjacent bulkheads,
dredge 60'of northern section of bulkhead no greater than 40'seaward to
a maximum depth of 4' below mean Iow water, at Wickham Creek, 1435
West Road, Cutchogue, NY.
4. Public Notice from NYS DEC, Notice of Complete Application of M. P.
Bontje and J. Mulholland to dredge 350 cu. yds. of material from a 30'
x 160' area to a maximum depth of 3'below mean low water near Conklin
Point. Dredged material to be dewatered on adjacent upland area and
trucked to upland disposal site. An open pile dock, ramp and float are
proposed for the Mulholland property; an extension to existing dock is
proposed for the Bontje property. Located at 802 and 725 Island View
Lane, Arehamomoque, Southold.
5. Public Notice from US Army Corps of Engineers, NY Dist. re:
reissuanee of a Regional General Permit authorizing construction of
timber piers, ramps, floats and mooring piles for non-commercial use in
Nassau and Suffolk Counties.

V. RESOLUTIONS
Special Note: At this time the Supervisor will invite the public to speak
out on the following resolutions.

I Resolved that the Town Board authorizes the Town Clerk to advertise
for bids for the reconstruction and restoration of the roads in Lands
End Subdivision.
2/ Resolved that the Town Board authorizes a refund representing 1/2 of
a filing fee for an appeal which was withdrawn after work had begun
on it by ZBA Staff.
3/ Resolved that the Town Board requests the SC Dept. of Public Works
to conduct a traffic survey for the purpose of reducing the speed
limit on Rt. 48 between Depot Lane and Cox Lane in Cutehogue.

Resolved that the Town Board accepts a bid for the purchase of one
new 1996 Ford LN-800 CA and Chassis for Highway Dept.
Resolved that the Town Board authorizes the placement of an ad in the
Suffolk Times and Traveler-Watchman to bring attention to the latest
issue of Wastewateh and to correct specific errors in the publication.

6~// Resolved that the Town Board appoints lifeguards K. Hespos, K.
Deppoliti, G. Tuthill; and beach attendant T. Dietrick, effective
immediately.

Resolved that the Town Board appoints Aimee M. Biggs as a part-time
Seasonal Clerk for the Town Attorney's Office, effective immediately.
Resolved that the Town Board authorizes Special Counsel Richard J.
Cron to accept the settlement in the Sea Breeze Village Condominium
certiorari proceeding.
9/ Resolved that the Town Board request State and Federal financial
/~ssistance to address brown tide problems.
101/ Resolved that the Town Board authorizes and directs Lawrence
Healthcare Administrative Services, Inc. to pay medical claims on
behalf of employees, which claims were submitted by the providers more
than 90 days after the date of service.
11/ Resolved that the Town Board authorizes a release of a letter of credit
for roads and improvements in Orient Park Estates Major Subdivision.
12~/Resolved that the Town Board reappoints Mary Mulcahy Jackson as
Town Recycling Coordinator.

that the Town Board fully supports the establishment of a
Education Center at the Eastern Campus of Suffolk Community
Coliege; and further resolved that this Center will present a model for
regional cooperation to provide, cost effectively, vital educational,
social and economic services to the rural communities of Eastern
Suffolk; and further resolved that the Town Clerk is directbd to send a
copy of this resolution to specified individuals.
14~//Resolved that the Town Board authorizes Solid Waste Coordinator Jim
Bunchuck to attend the Solid Waste Assn. of North America's 33rd
Annual International Solid Waste Exposition.
Resolved that the Town Board enacts A Local Law in Relation to Front
Yard Setbacks.

Community Development Block Grant Program (FY21).
