prior to their enactment; the public will also be given time at the
conclusion of the regularly scheduled business agenda to address the Beard
on any given topic.

V. RESOLUTIONS
Special Note: At this time the Supervisor will invite the public to speak
out on the following resolutions.
1~'/ Resolved that the Town Board replaces Annie Burnham, representative
for Island People's Project on the FI Harbor Committee with Allie
Raridon, effective immediately.
2/ Resolved that the Town Board authorizes Lawrence Healthcare to pay
claims for employees which were submitted by the physicians more
than 90 days after the date of service.
Resolved that the Town Board accepts the resignation of lifeguard Mary
Kate Toner, effective July 3, 1995.
4~,-/ Resolved that the Town Board appoints Glen Knudson as a lifeguard
effective immediately.
5~'/ Resolved that the Town Board modifies the General Fund Whole Town
budget to correct the 1995 Recreation Budget.
6~/ Resolved that the Town Board authorizes an advance fee check for a
Town Summer Recreation Program bus trip to Ellis Island and the
Statue of Liberty.

Resolved that the Town Board authorizes the Supervisor to execute an
agreement between the Town and a dancing instructor for the summer
recreation program.
Resolved that the Town Board accepts the bid of T. H. Gannon and
Sons, Inc for furnishing and applying micro-surfacing for the Town
Highway Dept.
Resolved that the Town Board rescinds resolution no. 13 adopted on
May 15, 1995 authorizing the rental of a Read Waste Manager Screener.
Resolved that the Town Board authorizes the solid Waste Management
District to rent a portable trommel screen for one month.
11~/Resolved that the Town Board establishes the Consolidated Local Street
and Highway Improvement Program (CHIPS).
12~/Resolved that the Town Board authorizes the Supervisor to execute a
project amendment to extend the agreement between the Town and the
Dept. of State regarding funding under Title 11 of the
Environmental Protection Fund through December 31, 1995 for the Town
of Southold Local Erosion Management Program.
13/Resolved that the Town Board authorizes the Supervisor to execute a
project amendment to extend the agreement between the Town and the
Dept. of State regarding funding under Title 11 of the Environmental
Protection Fund through Dec. 31, 1995 for the Town of Southold Harbor
Management Plan.
14~'/Resolved that the Town Board accepts the resignations of 3 members of
the Committee on Local Taxes.
15~/Resolved that the Town Board extends the appointments of specified
members of the Committee on Local Taxes.
16~esolved that the Town Board authorizes a budget modification to the
General Fund Whole Town 1995 Budget.
17/Resolved that the Town Board authorizes Tri-S, Ine Division of ENSA
to enter into a subcontract with D. W. Transport Leasing, Inc. on the
FI Metal Dump Remediation Project.
18~//Resolved that the Town Board grants a 6 month trailer permit to John
J. Tardif at Banks Street, Cutchogue.
19/Resolved that the Town Board accepts the proposal of Bowne
Management Systems Inc., to perform an assessment of the Town's
computer needs.

20~/ Resolved that the Town Board authorizes a budget modification to the
Solid Waste Management District 1995 Budget.

certification to the NYS Affordable Housing Corp. for funding the
affordable housing proposal for Elijah's Lane Estates, Sec. II and III.
22 ~/Resolved that the Town Board agrees to pay the fair per capita share
to Public Financial Management Services to hold public hearings in each
Town to develop a concise executive summary for the Peconic County
Study.
23/ Resolved that the Town Board authorizes the Town Clerk to advertise
for a student intern for data input for the Town Attorney's office.
24~/Resolved that the Town Board authorizes Der. Beth Dzenkowski to
attend the NYS Juvenile Officers Assoc. Training Conference.
25/Resolved that the Town Board authorizes a budget modification to the
General Fund Whole Town 1995 Budget for Peconic County Feasibility
Study.
26~/Resolved that the Town Board authorizes a budget modification to the
General Fund Whole Town 1995 Budget for buoy maintenance at Fishers
Island.
27~/Resolved that the Town Board authorizes a budget modification to the
General Fund Whole Town 1995 Budget for a Concise Executive Summary
of the Peconic County Feasibility Study.
28/Resolved that the Town Board authorizes and directs the Supervisor to
prosecute an Action against Cross Sound Ferry Service, Inc.
