POLICY: At scheduled Town Board meetings, the attending public is encouraged to briefly address the Town Board relating to agenda resolutions prior to their enactment; the public will also be given time at the conclusion of the regularly scheduled business agenda to address the Board on any given topic. Determination that proposed "Local Law in Relation to Light Industrial (LI) and Light Industrial Office (LIO) Zone Uses" will have no significant effect on the environment; and enactment of Local Law No. 6-1997. 2. Authorize and direct Supervisor Cochran to execute a Notice of Intent with The Founders Group Corp. designating them as Third Party Administrator for the Town's self-insured benefits. 3. Grants Program. 4. Full-time vs. part-time Clerk Typists. 5. Police Department staffing (10:15 a.m.). 6. Accept the resignation of James McMahon as Americans with Disabilities Act Coordinator for Southold Town and appoint Venetia McKeighan in his place. 7. Set date to interview for part-time Clerk Typist. 8. Authorize and direct the Town Clerk to transmit "A Local Law in Relation to Lot Creation with Structures" to the Southold Planning Board and the SC Department of Planning. 9. Authorize and direct the Town Clerk to transmit "A Local Law in Relation to Site Plans" to the Southold Planning Board and the SC Department of Planning. 10. RESOLUTIONS Special Note: At the start of the Town Board Meeting the Supervisor will invite the public to speak on the following resolutions. Grant permission to Deputy Town Clerk Linda Cooper to attend a NYS DEC Seminar on conservation licensing in Stony Brook on May 7, 1997. 2t/ Establish 1997 pay schedule for Lifeguards and Beach Attendants. 3/Set 5:10 p.m., Tuesday, May 13, 1997, Southold Town Hall, as time and place for a public hearing on "A Local Law in Relation to Parking Pleas by Mail". 4~/Establish Capital Budget for the Human Resource Center generators. 5/Authorize James McMahon to submit an Application for Permit, on behalf of the Highway Department, to the NYS DEC for the Hummel Pond Drainage Project. 6~//Reject the bid of Brackenbuilt Homes, Inc., for the construction of a Tourist Information Booth in Greenport. 7}/ Authorize and direct the Town Clerk to advertise for bids for the construction of a Tourist Information Booth in Greenport. 8}/ Grant permission to the American Diabetes Association to use Town Roads for their annual Tour de Cure cycling event on June 29, 1997. 9~/ Authorize and direct the Town Clerk to advertise for bids for the sale of used Town vehicles and boats. 10/ Engage the services of David C. Wimpelberg to conduct appraisals on behalf of the Land Preservation Committee for possible acquisition of development rights for the following parcels: Ackermann SCTM #1000-108-3-7 and Young SCTM #1000-19-1-1.2. 1 IV/ Engage the services of Andrew D. Stype to conduct appraisals on behaifofthe Land Preservation Committee for possible acquisition of development rights for the following parcels: Baiz SCTM #1000-69-5-4.1 and Baiz SCTM #1000-56-5-I .3. 12/Accept, with regret, the resignation of Helen Browning, back up Kitchen Aide for the Weekend SNAP Program. 13/ Approve the bond for roads and improvements in the major subdivision of Rockcove Estates in Greenpott. RESOLUTIONS - Cont. 14e'/Grant permission to Venetia McKeighan to place an ad in The Suffolk Times publicizing the Elder Forum May 10, 1997. 15/Establish Capital Budget for the Human Resource Center van. 1.6~ Authorize modification to the General Fund Whole Town 1997 Budget to appropriate Park & Playground funds for tennis courts fence on Fishers Island. 17e/ Approve the reduction of the performance bond for Pheasant Run Estates Phase I. 18~/ Authorize the issuance of a refund and credit to the account of Dave Creato, charged in error at the Disposal Area. 19.v/ Authorize and direct the Town Attorney to draw upon the Letter of Credit for the performance bond for major subdivision of Pheasant Run, Phase I, if the renewal Letter of Credit is not received by 4:00 p.m., May 9, 1997. 20d Accept the volunteer services of Robert Pettit to do certain jobs at the Recreation Center. 21v/ Promote John H.
