This site plan application is to convert an existing 1,400 sq. ft. building to an office in
connection with the over-all farm use of the site on 1.03 acres located in the A-C Zoning
District. No alterations to the buildings are proposed.
The proposed action has been reviewed to Chapter 268, Waterfront Consistency
Review of the Town of Southold Town Code and the Local Waterfront Revitalization
Program (LWRP) Policy Standards. Based upon the information provided on the LWRP
Consistency Assessment Form submitted to this department, the proposed action is
CONSISTENT with the below listed policy and therefore is CONSISTENT with the
LWRP.
Policy 12.2. Establish and maintain favorable conditions which support existing
or promote new coastal agricultural production.
Promote new and maintain existing local support services and commercial
enterprises necessary to support agricultural operations.
Pursuant to Chapter 268, the Board shall consider this recommendation in preparing its
written determination regarding the consistency of the proposed action.
