Below you will find a list of all the events that have taken place at the Human Resource
Center (HRC) during the month of March 2011. The events have been divided into three
categories, which include Health Promotion, Presentations/Special Events and Staff
Activities/Trainings.
Health Promotion
1. Senior Wellness Education Series Presentation "What is Elder Abuse" on March
4th
2. Blood Pressure Clinic on March 8th.
3. Line Dancing classes on March 7th, 14th, 21st, and 28th.
4. Bereavement Counseling by East End Hospice on March l0th, 17th, 24th and 31st.

5. Caregivers Support meeting on March 15 .
6. Hearing Screenings by Peconic ENT & Plastic Surgery on March 18th.
7. "Eat Smart" nutrition classes on March 23rd and 30th.
8. "Our Ears and the World of Sound Part I" presentation by Dr. Prestano, Director
of Audiology at Peonic Ear, Nose, Throat and Plastic Surgery on March 30th.
Presentation/Special Events
St. Patrick's Day Celebration including music, trivia and prizes on March 17th.
Monthly Birthday Celebration with musical entertainment by Larry Lang on
March 30th.
Staff Activities/Trainings
1. Health Issues and Services for Seniors Meeting on March 30th.
The weekly movie continued throughout the month of February as well as the weekly
WII game tournaments. Please let me know if you have any questions or need additional
