MINUTES OF MAY 24, 1995
Present were:
Joe Gold
Jim Pim
Tom Madigan
Michael Croteau
Ruth Oliva
The committee discussed the Heins appraisal. A motion was made by
Jim Pim and seconded by Tom Madigan to offer the appraisal price
to Mr. Heins. All were in favor.
The application of Fred Lappe, South Harbor Rd., Southold was
reviewed by the committee. A motion was made by Michael Croteau
and seconded by Tom Madigan to recommend to the Town Board that
Andy Stype be contracted to do an appraisal on this property. All
were in favor.
The committee also reviewed the Sledjeski application, Main Rd.,
Orient. A motion was made by Michael Croteau and seconded by Tom
Madigan to recommend to the Town Board that Andy Stype be contracted
to do an appraisal on this property. All were in favor.
The Anna Fiore property is now being farmed. This application is being
put on hold until we find out how much of this property is being offered
for purchase.
The Parks and Recreation Committee has asked that members of the Land
Preservation Committee attend their meeting on Wednesday, June 7th to
discuss the mutual concern for the development of Hummel's Pond.
With no further business to be discussed, the meeting was adjourned at
8:35 p.m.
