HomeMy WebLinkAbout02/16/1943 MEETING OF THE $OUTHOL0 PARK DI$TRICT Notice is hereby give~- as pre- scribed by Chapter 234 of the Ses- sions Laws of 1907 of the State ot New York,~ entitled "An Act to authorize the formation of a Park District in the Town of Southold, SuffoLk County, to acquire land for park purposes and to /ssue bonds therefor," and ame.~dments there- to, that a meeting of the legal voters of the said Park District, the boun- daries of which are the same as those ot So~thold Union School D/strict No. 5, win be held in the office o/ the Southold Town Clerk in said District on Tuesday evening, Feb- ruary 16, 1943, at 8 o'clock p. M. At this meeting a Park Commis- sioner will be elected for a term oi three years in the place of Dr. S. B. Fischer, whose term of office win then expire. At this meeting a Treasurer will be elected for a term of three years m the place of Dr. Paul L. Diefen- baeher whose term of office will then expire. At this meetthg also the Park Commissioners will ask for an ap- propriation of One Thousand Dollara ($1,000) for the maintenance of the Park District properties. Dated, Southold, N. Y.
