SOUTHOLD PARK DISTRICT
Notice is hereby given, as pre-
scribed by Chapter 234 of the Sessions
Law of 1907 of the State of New
~rork, entitled "AJ~ Act to authorize
the formation of a Park District in'
the Town of Southold, Suffolk
County to acquire land for park pur-
poses and to issue bonds therefor,"
and amendments thereto, that a
meeting of the legal voters of the said
'Park District, the boundaries of
which are the same as those of
Southold Union School District No.
5, will be held in the Town Clerk's
Office in said District on Tuesday,
February 17, 1948, at 8 o'clock P. M.
At this meeting a Park Commis-
sioner will be elected for a term of
:three years in the place of Rensselaer
G. Terry, Sr., whose term of office
~vill then expire.
At this :meeting, also the Park
~ommissioners will ask for an ap-'
propriaton of-Two Thousand Five
· Iundred Dolla~rs ($2,500) for the
maintenance of ~the Park DistrictI
properties and to transact any other~
business that may properly come be-
fore the meeting.
