Resolution offf&red by Justice ~uthill; seconded by Councilman Alberteon: WHEREAS, the Cutchogue-New Suffolk Park District was established by a resolution of this Board, duly adopted at a meeting thereof held on May 28, 1958, pursuant to the provisions of Chapter 713 of the Laws of 1958, and WHEREAS, the provisions of said law provide that the affairs of said District shall be administered by the Town Board until the first annual election of Commissioners of the said Park District, whereupon the provisions of Article thirteen of the Town Law shall be applicable to such Park District and the affairs thereof shall be administered in the manner therein provided, and WHEREAS, the Town Board now desires to provide for the first annual election of a separate Board of Commissioners of said Park District, NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the first annual election of The Cutchogue-New Suffolk Park District shall be held at the Cutchogue School House, Depot Lane, Cutchogue, New York on the 5th day of December, 1958, with the polls to be open between the hours of 7:00 o'clock P.M. and 10:OO o'clock P,M. of said day for the purpose of electing one Commissioner for a term of one year, one Commissioner for a term of two years and one Commissioner for a term of three years. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that Fred W. Eaelin, James McNei and Myron Dixon , resident taxpayers of said District, bE and they hereby are designated to act as election inspectors and ballot clerks at said election, and that said election inspectors and ballot clerks each be paid the sum of $ 5.00 as and for their compensation which shall be a charge against the district. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that William Wickham, Esq. be and he hereby is authorized and directed to cause a notice of said annual election to be published in the Suffolk Times, a newspaper having general circulation in said District, at least twenty days before the day of such election, which notice shall specify the time when and the place where such election shall be held and the hours during which the polls will be open. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that William Wickham, Esq. be and he hereby is authorized and directed to cause the necessary ballots to be prepared for said election. The question of the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly put to a vote which resulted as follows: AYES -Supervisor Norman E. Nlipp$ Councilmen Albertson and Demarest and Justices ?uthill and Clark. NOES-None The resolution was thereupon declared duly adopted.
