THIS IS TO CERTIFY THAT THE FOLLOWING RESOLUTION NO. 2011-208 WAS
ADOPTED AT THE REGULAR MEETING OF THE SOUTHOLD TOWN BOARD ON
MARCH 1, 2011:
RESOLVED that the Town Board of the Town of Southold hereby authorizes and directs
Supervisor Scott A. Russell to execute the Agreement between the Town of Southold and
Cornell Cooperative Extension in connection with the Eat Smart New York Program for
2011 wherein Comell will conduct a series of workshops on food and nutrition to the Human
Resource Center staff, at no cost to the Town, subject to the approval of the Town Attorney.

FY 2011 Agreement between Cornell Cooperative Extension
Eat Smart New York! (ESNY!) and
the Town of Southold Senior Center
Extension Educator, Ellen Rackow, will teach a series of food and nutrition lessons to: the
Town of Southold Senior Center located at 750 Pacific Street, P.O. Box 85, Maffituck,
NY. The series of workshops will begin on March 23, 2011, and end on May 4, 2011. The
group will meet on Wednesdays from 10:45 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
The Town of Southold Senior Center agrees to:
> Notify Ellen Rackow prior to a scheduled lesson if unable to hold a session and
to reschedule at that time.
Provide names and ages of participants to the educator.
Provide staff, volunteers, or helpers, who will assist the ESNY! Community
Nutrition Educator in collecting data, and conducting sessions. The names of
those assigned to assist will be provided to Cornell Cooperative Extension.
Set up for the sessions prior to the time the ESNY! Nutrition Educator arrives.
Cornell Cooperative Extension (ESNY!) agrees to:

~ Supply training materials, certificates, and other educational materials, as well
as some food items needed for hands-on experience.
