the Mattituck Park District held on May 6, 1994 at the Park
District Office on Main Road, Mattituck, New York, with all
Commissioners and Officers present.
On motion of Peter Sabat, seconded by Ed Adams and
carried, the minutes of the April meeting were approved as
presented.
On motion of Peter Sabat, seconded by Ed Adams and

Ed Adams stated that to date we are in full operation.
The contract for the Vetts Park concession has been signed
and paid for in full ($650.00) by Statewide Caterers.
Improvements to the sites were discussed by all
Commissioners:
All the poles for Aldrich Lane site and Yacht Club site
have been gotten. The fences are to be put up. Peter Sabat
said that Mark Sabat has the lights in.
At this point Mitch Markowski and Missy Viola,
representatives of the Slo Pitch League and Ladies Softha11
League were introduced. A general discussion of their needs
and Park District needs was held. New cross arm of treated
wood for the new light at the Yacht Club site is to be
gotten. Netting has to be ordered. Portable potties have
been ordered and will be delivered by May 21st, 1994. New
cellular phone is programmed to call Suffolk County Police
who would call Southold Town Police. Ball team
representatives asked to have it re-programmed 765-2600 to
go directly to Southold Town Police. The Ball
representatives were told that the fields could not be
leased because of our charter stating that all sites are for
recreational facilities for the residents of the Mattituck
Park District. The ball players are to take care of mowing
the field. The league representatives thanked the
Commissioners for their time and left the meeting.
Commissioners were advised the piles are in for the
dock and the bill is $750.00.
Vito Italia is to clean the Breakwater beach for
$850.00.
Commtssi0ners are to contact Celic Agency and Stype
Bros. regarding appraisals of the Westphalia Sacks property.
On May 10th, Tuesday, a new Hustler mower ($9,000.0~,
is to be demonstrated at Vet's Park.
A 4 x 4 CCAA with railing fence is to be installed at
Vet's Park instead of split rail.
No further business to come before the meeting, the
meeting was adjourned.
