Park District held at the Park district office on June 21, 1989 at 7:30 P.M. with
all Commissioners present. Secretary Madeline Haas was absent. Also present
was custodian Russell Nine in place of Mr. Cox.
Minutes for April and May were presented and with one correction were approved
as presented.
Treasurer's report for May was approved as follows:

Old Business:
Inspection of work of park sites. All work completed with exception of Aldrich
Lane and grading at Wolf Pit Lake .
New Business:
Letter requesting swimming lessons be held at Breakwater beach from July
10 to 21, 1989. Permission granted.
Councilman George Penny IV appeared to discus the ramp at Love Lane. He
wishes to work out some type of arrangement between Southold Town and Nattituck
Partk District for use of ramp by residents of Southold Town. Commissioners agreed
to look into matter with the Park District attorney.
Rosemary McCamish who has the bay concession met with Commissioners regarding
opening the Breakwater site for concession on a small basis (soda, ice cream,
chips, candy, Franks). This is to be checked out with attorney.
Commissioners talked to Councilman Penny about closing off Bay AVenu east
of Vets' Park. Councilmman Penny to talk to Highway Superintendent Ray Jacobs
about the matter.
No further business to come before the meeting, the meeting was adjourned
at 8:38 P.M.
