held on July 18, 1990 at the Park District office, Main Road, Mattituck, New York, with
all Commissioners present. Also present: Mr. Cox, custodian and Mr. Bressler,
attorney.
Meeting called to order by Chairman Adams at 7:35 P.M.
On motion of Pete Sabat, seconded by Jerry Goehringer and carried the minutes
were approved as presented.

The callapsed pipe on the west side of the ball park property connecting the
property on the north side of Peconic Bay Boulevard owned by the Nature Conservancy
was discussed. The attorney is to write to Nature Conservancy to see what they
intend to do with the situate. In the meantime, the collapsed ground on Park District
property is fenced off to avoid accidents.
Tim Poplaski is interested in the Vets concession. The Commissioners agreed
to waive the Workmen's Compensation insurance as he himself will be working the
stand and he will have no employees, should he decide to definitely take the concession.
Three first aid kits are to be purchased - one for each life guard and stencilled
"Mattituck Park District".
Mr. Adams instructed Mr. Cox to get Wolf Pit Lake cleaned up.
Mr. Jerry Goehringer spoke about the older men working in the heat. Discussion
followed on pros and cons of older men working.
The extension of the irrigation system at the Little League field on Bay Avenue
is tabled until September.
Mr. Cibulski looked at the 2 shuffleboard courts at Vets Park and felt they
should be replaced rather than fixed. No decision arrived at.
Joanne Ship and Althea Sidor arrived at the meeting to complain about the
considition of Wolf Pit Lake. There were told it was going to be cleaned up.
The 1991 budget was discussed. The following budget will be put up for vote
on August 15, 1990 from 7:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. at the Park District Office:
