the Mattituck Park District held on January 16, 1991 at the
Park District office with all Commissioners and officers
present. Mr. John Cushman was .welcomed as new Treasurer.
The first order of business was to select a C~airman
for the year 1991.

On motion of Jerry Goehringer, seconded by Pete Sabat
carried, Edward Adams was appointed Chairman for 1991.
On motion of Jerry Goehringer, seconded by Pete Sabat
carried, Madeline Haas was appoint Secretary for 1991.
Minutes of December meeting were tabeled.
On motion of Jerry Goehringer, seconded by Pete Sabat
and carried
On motion of Jerry Goehringer, seconded by Pete Sabat
and carried, The Suffolk Times and Long Island Traveler-
Watchman were named official newspapers of the District.
On motion of Jerry Goehringer, seconded by Pete Sabat
and carried, Wickham, Wickham & Bressler were appoint legal
advisors of the District for 1991.
Mr. Adams said that Mr. Savino, attorney associated
with Wickham, Wickham & Bressler, had written a letter to
the Laundromat people to tell them that they were not to use
our property for access to their construction or for storage
of equipment.
Mr. Cushman stated that he would like to look into the
insurance coverage and get quotes from various other agents.
So granted by Commissioners.
The budget for 1991 was discussed and because of a
discrepancy in the numbers for Treasurer's salary, Jerry
Goehringer motioned, seconded by Pete Sabat and carried to
take $200 from site improvements and move it to the
Treasurer's salary.
Correspondence read was letter from Mimi Columbo
regarding concessions. Secretary to write to give her
information.
Letter from Family Farms regarding Jim Cox's annuity.
Letter from John Costello notifying District of his
business of dock repair and bulkheading.
The Ball Park site was discussed. Jim Cox asked is he
could close off the whole site while restoration was going
on. So granted but Yacht Club to be notified.
Commissioners unanimously agreed to have no lifeguard at
the Ball Park site for the summer of 1991.
Keys for the Love Lane ramp would be $10.00 this season.
Beach stickers will cost $2.50 per family and must be
displayed in an appropriate manner on the front left bumper.
Vehicles without stickers will be towed away.
John Cushman stated that Jim Cox's payroll has been set
up on a bi-weekly basis.
No further business to come before the meeting, the
meeting was adjourned.
