Commissioners of the Mattituck Park District held at the
Park District Office, Main Road, Mattituck, New York on
September 18, 1991 with all Commissioners present.
On motion of Pete Sabat, seconded by Jerry Goehringer
and carried the minutes of the August meeting were approved
as presented.
Ed Adams reported that Bud Cybulski and Mr. Corazzini
are going to blacktop the existing shuffle board court at
the Vet's Park side and put on a new layer of rubberized
surface.
John Cushman stated that the insurance coverage of the
District will stay with the Reeve Agency for this year.
Ed Adams said that the park attendants were finished for
the season.
John Cushman reported that the Town did get the federal
grant for damage resulting from the hurricane. The Town has
to know the amount of money spent on repairs and on
expenses. Jim Cox is to itemize the repairs.
For the record, the tractor was broken while pulling out
a tree. Commissioners instructed Jim Cox to take it to Ford
to have repaired seeing that it was bought there. If the
re-enforcement kit is available and the price is right have
it put on the tractor while it is being fixed.
Jerry Goehringer made a motion, seconded by Pete Sabat
for leasing a new 4 x 4 dump truck. John Cushman is to put
specifications together for publication if it has to be put
out to bid.
Pete Sabat motioned, seconded by Jerry Goehringer and
carried for the following resolution:

Commissioners discussed the Flag Football teams usage
of the Aldrich Lane site. Originals they were to use the
field 2 nights a week and they are using it 4, 5 and 6
nights. Jim Cox was asked to speak to them.
On motion of Jerry Goehringer, seconded by Pete Sabat
and carried that for the 1992 summer season a $3.00 one-day
beach permit pass will be issued.
On motion of Pete Sabat, seconded by Jerry Goehringer
and carried the Treasurer's report was approved as read:
