HomeMy WebLinkAboutMPD-11/20/1991 Minutes of the regular monthly meeting of the Board of Commissioners of the Mattituck Park District held on the 20th day of November, 1991 at the Park District office with all Commissioners present. On motion of Walter Sabat, seconded by Eddie Adams and carried, the minutes were approved as presented. On motion of Eddie Adams, seconded by Walter Sabat and carried, the treasurer's report and payment of bills were approved as follows: Now Account $ 1,401.45 Money Market account 30.449.31 Total $31,850.76 Bills ordered paid: Penny Lumber Cutchogue Auto Parts New York Telephone Universal Play Systems Traveler Lilco Barker's Pharmacy Blackman Plumbing Supply Family Farm Life Insurance Malvese Equipment Co. Commissioners have no lead as to who caused the damage. The following bids for the dump truck were opened: Sayville Ford: 1992 Ford F350 Dump truck Total delivery price $27,792.60 Mullen Motors 1992 4 x 4 dump truck $527.08 per month for 48 months Huntington Dodge $476.80 per month for 63 months $1.00 buy back 4e Hustedt Chevrolet 4 x 4 1992 Chevrolet $17,412.00 1992 Ford F350 Chassy $17,412.00 5. The Commissioners said that the 3 bids for lease- purchase to be examined by the attorneys. Dealers to be checked as to what allowance was given on the truck. Ed Adams talked to Mr. Jacobs as to parking lots. He will do the work in the spring as long as we pay for oil. He is not using sand. He is using crushed blue stone. Commissioners have purchased a dehumidifier for the office. On motion of Jerry Goehringer, seconded by Pete Sabat and carried the follow resolutions were adopted: Resolved that the commissioners of the Mattituck Park District authorize the following 1991 budget modifications: To: Equipment Repairs $2,000.00; From: Beach Salaries $2,000.00. Resolved that the Commissioners of the Mattituck Park District hereby authorize the increase in maximum annual hours for the following part time employees: Harry Charkow from 540 hours to 645 hours Bertram Walker from 638 hours to 690 hours. The tellers for the December vote for Commissioners will be Bonnie Adams and Judy Thilberg. Kaelin's Equipment has a shredder that Jim Cox would like. He is to ask the estimated life of the blades and what the cost would be to replace them and what warranty does it carry. There still is no work from Vector Control regarding the ball park site. Wolf Pit Lake is to be cleared of debris before freezing and skating time. No further business to come before the meeting, the meeting was adjourned. Respectfully submitted, Madeline S. Haas.
