Commissioners of the Mattituck Park District held on April
15, 1992 at the Mattituck Park District office with all
Commissioners present.
Chairman Ed Adams opened the meeting at 7:30 P.M.
On motion of Pete Sabat, seconded by Jerry Goehringer,
and carried, the minutes were approved as presented.
On motion of Jerry Goehringer, seconded by Pete Sabat
and carried the Treasurer's report was approved as read and
the following bills were ordered paid:

Treasurer John Cushman asked that in February or March
of each year the Janvey order be brought forward to the
Commissioners so that it can be okayed.
Commissioners authorized Jim Cox to get an application
from Sunoco for a gas credit card.
Ed Adams read a letter from Kevin Terry of Mullen
Motors thanking the Commissioners for the business
Edward question the custodian about the decals.
Letter from Mattituck Historical Society received
thanking the Commissioners for the up-keep of the Society's
grounds.
Letter from Mattituck Fire District requesting renewal
of the agreement. Ed Adams to meet with Commissioners of
the fire district to advise them that the renewal would be
done as far as the arch staying as long as it is kept in
safe condition.
Jerry Goehringer suggested having the poles at the ball
park site tested for safeness..
Jerry Goehringer reported having received a letter from
Wickham, Wickham & Bressler sending a letter from Land Use
stating that the total cost should not exceed $900.00. They
needed a consent letter to start securing the permit. Jerry
authorized John Cushman to send a check to Gail Wickham for
$825.00. The concrete should cost about $2000.00. This
work is to be done at the Love Lane site.
The fence on the west side of Love Lane site is in.
Policing the park sites was discussed.
Bonnie Mathews is coming back as a gate girl.
Jim Cox to see Peter Jacques about putting on the
decals.
Site maintenance was discussed regarding all sites.
Jerry is to check with DiVello on size and picking up
the debris at Love Lane in one dumpster for June, July and
August.
Possibility of using the Sacks property for a re-
cycling location was discussed.
Jerry and Jimmy discussed the possibility of getting
away from the extension phone at the Breakwater site for use
of life guards and gate girls and getting a cellular phone.
It would be programmed only for the Southold Town Police.
Charges: $49.00 for phone, $150 for hook up; and $28 per
month.
On motion of Jerry Goehringer, seconded by Pete Sabat
and carried, a cellular phone is to be purchased.
The May meeting will be held on May 21, 1992 instead of
May 20, 1992.
On motion of Pete Sabat and seconded by Jerry
Goehringer and carried, the meeting was adjourned.
