Commissioners of the Mattituck Park District held on
NoveI~ber 19, 1992 at the Park District office with all
Commissioners present.

The ball park cites were discussed and it was decided
from November 1, 1992 to May 1, 1992 every season, the
park sites would not be used. If someone wants to use
and the lights are turned on, there will be a $200.00
fee to defray the costs of the lights.
The Commissioners agreed that Mr. and Mrs. Guittard
could opt to operate the Vets Park cite concession for the
1993 season. Ed Adams is to notify them.
Mr. Goehringer said he had received a quote of $15,216
from Warren Sandbach, engineer, for repair of bulkhead at
Love Lane site. On motion of Pete Sabat, seconded by Ed
Adams and carried, no more than $20,000.00 could be expended
for the repair of said bulkhead.
John Cushman submitted job specifications to Civil
Service and Civil Service has submitted titles in return.
All hired people must be brought before the Board.
Budget Modifications: On motion of Pete Sabat and
seconded by Jerry Goehringer and carried, $2,000.00 is to be
taken from lifeguards and put into Electricity; and $1000.00
is to be taken from lifeguards and put into Equipment
Repairs.
On motion of Pete Sabat, seconded by Jerry Goehringer
and carried, the following resolution was adopted: RESOLVED
that commencing January, 1993, the monthly meetings of the
Commissioners of the Mattituck Park District will be held at
the Park District office on the first Thursday of every
month.
A letter from the Audobon Society was received
congratulating the Commissioners on the closing off of the
road along the dunes at Baileys Beach.
Ed Adams said he would get in touch with Bud Cibulski
(Sea Breeze) about epoxying shuffle board courts at Vets
Park.
The custodians are to hook up the new circulator and
replace leaking pipe in the District office.
Stumps are to be pulled out at Aldrich Lane for
additional parking. This work is to be done by Howard
Wells.
The dumpster at the Love Lane site is to be moved to
Vets Park but the dumpster will be smaller.
Lilco has said that they will be liable for any
electricity used after November 1st at Aldrich Lane because
the order to shut it off was received November 1st. The
Yacht Club was ordered shut off prior to November, 1992
Mr. Goehringer reported that a chain saw had fallen off
the Park District truck. It was in fair condition
previously and worth approximately $400.00. The person who
lost it had purchased one from his own pocket. On motion of
Pete Sabat, seconded by Jerry Goehringer and carried, this
person is to be reimbursed by the Park District.
Mr. Russell Nine, of Mattituck Youth Activities, said
that local boy and girl scouts do not get charged for using
the building. Any outsiders are charged $50.00 per weekend.
The insurance and electricity are paid by the Park District.
December will be the election of a commissioner to
replace Mr. Goehringer whose term expires December 31, 1992.
Mr. John Kowalski is to Thoroughseal the walls in the
basement of the Park District office.
The Treasurer's report was approved by all Commissioners
