HomeMy WebLinkAboutMPD-12/17/1986 Minutes of regular monthly meeting of the Board of Commissioners of the Mattituck Park District held on December 17, 1986 at the Park District Office on MainRoad, Mattituck, New York, with all Commissioners present. The minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved. The Treasurer's report was approved as follows: Regular Account Money Maker Account Storm Nelson Account Total $ 1,207.66 20,517.31 10,767.40 $32,492.37 The following bills were ordered paid,on motion of Ed Adams, seconded by Pete Sabat and carried. Reeve Twin Fork Fence Glenn Bradley & Son Mattituck Plumbing Penny Lumber Raynor-Suter Malvese Equip. $ 380.25 203.75 451.00 119.65 50.41 7.22 26.05 65.81 4,026.00 40.00 38.00 202.35 2,072.17 4,500.00 On motion of Mr. Goehringer, seconded by Mr. Sabat and carried, the following accounts were ordered paid from the Storm Nelson account: Raynor-Suter - Generator Ra~Bor-$uter - Cmment Mlxmr Twin Fork Fence - Fence at Vet's Park Malvese Equip. - Backhoe Miscellaneous - Close account $ 1,100.00 299.95 4,026.00 4,500.00 841.45 $]0.767.40 Mr~ Sabat reported that Supervisor Murphy had called him to say that the Mattituck Creek was going t~ open in the near future for clamming and that he thought it would be a good will gesture to let the baymen of Southold Town use the facilities without restriction. The Commissioners unanimously agreed not to allow all of Southold Town baymen to use the facilitie~ Mr. Goehringer spoke to the Corazzini's regarding re-paving of the two sites. He has not heard back from them as to the price of stone and oil. The Commissioners agreed to have a well put in at the Aldreich Lane site by Kreiger. Kreiger said it would be in before Decembers 31st. Commissioners agreed that starting on December 21st through January 2nd Mr. Cox and Mr. Haas were to each have two weeks off. The only stipulation was that they would take turns policing the area during the two weeks. Commissioners agreed to give Mr. Cox and Mr. Haas each a 6% raise - Mr. Cox $25 per and Mr. Haas $15 per week. Mr. Adams made a motion seconded by Mr. Goehringer to change the keys at Love Lane for the 1987 summer season. Mr. Cox to ask Ray Nine, Perricone or Ed Brush to move poles off Aldrich Lane site lines where they are encroaching on the neighboring property. Ramp and park permits will be issued at the Park Building office from March to October. Boat ramp keys to cost $6.00. Commissioners again stated they were going to set up a joint meeting with the Commissioners of the Cutchogu~ Park District re: merger $18,000,000+ Value - 12 parcels - Mattituck $15,000,000 VAlue - 2 parcels - Cutchogue The January 21st meeting will be an organizational meeting~ Love Lane floating dock to be repair or replaced. No further b~siness, th~ meeting was adjourned. Mr. Gerard Goehringer was elected to serve as Commissioner of the M~ttituck Park District for a term of two years commencing January 1, 1987.
