Commissioners Of the Mattituck Park District held on
September 17, 1986 at the Park District Office, Main Road
Mattituck, New York with all Commissioners present
except Peter Sabat.
The minutes of the previous meeting were read and
approved.
The Treasurer's report was approved as read:

The Commissioners ordered the following bills paid:

Mr. Adams reported receiving two letters:
1. Marlene Civic Association thanking the Park
District for re-surfacing the bacci courts.
2. Department of Environmental Conservation
clearing the way to do what has to be done for the
Scouters Lodge.
Motion of Ed Adams, seconded by Jerry Goehringer
to keep Fred Haas on full time. Fred and Jim Cox will
be entitled to 20 days vacation with pay. Motion
carried.
Fence along Bay AVenue to the Boulevard discussed.
Commissioners discussed the possibility of a user's
permit for the beaches. Mr. Goehringer to speak to
Senior Citizens about gate guards at the Bay.
There will only be a concession stand at the Bay
site in 1987.
Discussed the possibility of tearing down the build-
ing at Breakwater and erecting bathrooms.
Mr. Goehringer to look into prices for erecting
two stalls for women and one stall and one urinal for
men.
Jim Cox to start on Wolf Pit Lake.
Discussion on some type of landscaping at Sacks
property.
Bill for $250 to be sent to Charles Zahra for
the cesspool in the parking lot to the rear of the
old shoemaker shop.
Rental Agreements to be typed for Mattituck Lions
Club for 10 year period (1/1/86 - 12/31/96) for con-
sideration of installation of air conditioning system
by June, 1987, and North Fork Environmental Council
for Monday - Friday each week for payment of oil usage
and answering Park phone and leaving messages on desk.
No further business to come before the meeting,
the meeting was adjourned.
