C~mmissioners of the Mattituck Park District held on
July 16, 1986 at 7:30 P.M. at the Park District
office on Main Road, Mattituck, New York with all
Commissioners present. Absent: Secretary Madeline
Haas.
Minutes of the June meeting were read and
approved on motion of Ed Adams, seconded by Pete Sabat.
The Treasurer's report was approved as read:

Resignation of Jerry Goehringer as Chairman of
the Board of Directors received and accepted with
regrets. Edward Adams was appointed to fill his
unexpired term until December 31, 1986. Resigna-
tion attached and made a part of these minutes.
The Commissioners met with Michel]e Smiley and
Kelly Langan. They would like to have a concert for
Amy Grigonis on August 10, 1986 from 2 - 6 P.M. at
the Breakwater to raise money for her hospital bills.
~be Commissioners gave the ok as long as the beach was
policed and cleaned up properly. Commissioners to meet
again with them on August 5th.
Letter received from the North Fork Environmental
Council requesting the rental of office room. On motlon
of Ed Adams, seconded by Pete Sabat permission granted.
Council to pay fuel oil bill plus they will answer Park
District telephone.
Karen Kujawski and Dianna Jaquillard were hired on
motion of Jerry Goehringer, seconded by Ed Adams and car-
ried as gate guards at $4.00 per hour.
Letter from Southold Town Trustees received granting
Commissioners permission to clean up Wolf Pit Lake.
Letter from Mattituck Lioness' asked for use of the
building on the first Tuesday of each month for their
meeting. On motion of Ed Adams, seconded by Jerry
Goehringer, and carried, permission granted.
Letter received from Suffolk County Firemattc School
asking for use of Breakwater for skindiving classes. On
motion of Pete Sabat, seconded by Jerry Goehringer, and
carried, permission granted.
Letter read by Bob Graeb from Department of Labor
on our ~nsurance and he explained.
Letter from the Board of Appeals - notice on Wadding-
ton Building. On motion of Pete Sabat, seconded by
Ed Adams, and carried in favor.
The following are Park assignments:
Jerry: Breakwater and Love Lane and Parking Lot
Pete: Aldrich Lane, Vet's Park, Bay Avenue. Sacks
Ed: Bailey's Beach, Wolf Pit Lake, Yacht Club.
Marratooka Lake.
No further business to come before the meeting, the
meeting was 9djourned.
