HomeMy WebLinkAboutMPD-10/23/1984 Minutes of regular meeting of the Board of Com- missioners of the Mattituck Park District held on October 23, 1984 at 7:30 P.M. in the Mattituck High School Library with all Commissioners Present. Minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved. The Treasurer's report was approved as read: Investment Account Checking Account Total $11,882.43 1,021.84 $12,904.25 The following bills were ordered paid: Lilco Gen. $ 1185.95 N.Y.Telephone " 138.84 U.S.P.O. (Box Rent) " 11.00 Matt. Sanitation " 1155.00 Lou's Service Station " ~ 471.13 Southampton Lumber " 25.15 P. U. Cesspool " 57.50 Matt. Auto Parts " 139.44 Raynor Surer Hardware " 49.98 Penny Lumber ; " 111.31 R.L.Bergen Oil " 427.24 Mr. Gene Giannone and Mr. Christopher Gudis attended the meeting to ask th~ Cummissioner about putting up a restaurant on Park Properties at the foot of Love Lane t,l~ a lomg term l~ase which in tur~ would become tb~ property of the Park District at the end of the lease or at any time business should be terminated. The Commissioners said they could not give an answer be[ fore speaking to the attorney for the District about the legality of such a transaction. Mr. Giannone and Mr. Gudis thanked the Commissioners and left. Mr. Dickerson of Reeve Insurance is to be contacted ~b~t an analysis of the District entire insurance overage. A letter from the Senior Citizens was received requesting repairs to the Shuffle Board Court at the Veterans Park site. No further business to come before the meeting, the meeting was adjourned.
