The minutes of the previous meeting were read and ap~rd~e~. The Treasurer's report was approved as follows: Money Maker Account Regular Account Total $18,091.85 - 583.47 $17,508.38 The following bills were ordered paid: Lilco Gen. $ 1,478.56 N.Y.Telephone " 143.54 Raynor-Suter " 134.54 Kaelin's Service St. " 6.90 Tryac " 123.50 Dwight Edstrom " 200.00 Southampton Lumber " ,, 73,72 Lou's S. S. " 737.43 Matt. Auto Parts " 13.87 Bergen Oil " 112.22 The Secretary instructed to write aletter to the Commander of the U.S.Coast Guard at New Longdon asking fo a copy of the study done previously about placing a boat ramp wit~ the open channel of Mattituck Inlet in front o~ storage gasoline tanks. Commissioners stated that insurance proceeds re- ceiv~,~ for stolen rake and electrical service damage done ~y storm during the late spring. Mr. Goehringer authorized JimCox to buy the new York rake at approximately $1200,00. Policing of beaches for the s,~mer should be done by an adult rather than young people. A strong arm is neede to keep control of in-coming people and abiding by the laws. Ed Adams proposed a floating peir be placed at the foot of Love Lane by the ramp. Commissioners to go to the site and observe. Charles Zahra entered the meeting and asked for access to the rear of his building off the Park District paKking lot on Pike Street over a sidewalk owned by Commissioners have no objection as long as the lawyer says it it alright. Attorneys are to be at next meeting to discuss how the parking lot property can be divested. A discussion was had on the erection of a new flag~ pole at the foot of Love Lane. The Commissioners agreed that meetings are to be set for the first Wednesday of each month from now on. The vote for Commissioner is to be held on December 4,-- 1985.
