missioners of the Mattituck Park District held on
~;ecember 4, i985 at the Park District Office on
Main Road, Mattituck, New York with all Commissioners
present:
~_,_ Previous to the start of the meeting Commissioner
for Commissioner to fill the unexpired term of Michael
Burke and for a Co~issioner to succeed Mr. Murphy
whose term expire December 31, 1985. Polls declared
open at 7P.M.
The Treasurer's report was approved as follows:

Minutes of previous meeting approved as read.
Mr. Bressler, attorney,attended:the meeting.
Commissioners agreed that the concession at the
sound site will be not bid for operation in the
future.
Russell Nine attended meeting to ask for a lease for
the property at the Bailey Beach site where the
Mattituck Activities Council will build. He asked for a
term of 25 years with the option to renew for 25 years.
The Commissioners are to check this option out and work
up a lease.
It was agreed upon by motion of Edward Adams seconded b,y
Frank Murphy to purchase a 39 foot above the ground white
fiberglass with inside hillyard.
Lions Club to plant one or two evergreens at the
Love Lane site and put Christmas lites on them. Agreed by
Commissioners.
Waddington of Metro is to repair the drain he ruined
when he opened the right of way into the parking lot.
Jim Cox has closed ~p the opening.
The parking lot on Pike Street was discussed. Mr.
Bressler advised not to turn it over to the Town. Law
suits would be likely from taxpayers.
Mr.Goehringer to take care of lettering of Mattituck ~!
Park District building. Commissioner to approve the let-
tering the Lions' Club side of the building.
Jim Cox reported that the slides have to be replaced
at Veterans Memorial Park. Agreed by Commissioners.
Motion made by Edward Adams thanking Frank Murphy f~r
his efforts and time that he has contributed to the Park
District. He will be solely missed. Seconded by Jerry
Goehringer and unanimously approved.
It was reported that Laurel School District is erectin~
a fence through the school field on the Aldrich Lane site.
Commissioners to check this out.
No further business to come before the meeting, the
meeting was adjourned.

At 9:00 P.M. the polls were declared closed
and the Inspectors of Election counted and tallied
the votes as follows:
