On motion of Ed Adams, seconded by Peter Sabat and carried Gene Giannone be allowed to operate the Bay Concession for the sum of $200.00. nTth%c~Jen at the Bay site to be fixew~.. Mr. Adams to co · firemen about fixing it as zt is there because of their tournaments. A letter was received from Stanton Simm about the gate guard. A resolution made by Ed Adams, that based upon the solicitation of bids of Lindenhurst School District, the Board of Commissioners will purchase a Ford Truck with identical equipment, at same price. Motion seconded by Peter Sabat and carried. On motion of Ed Adams, seconded by Pete Sabat, based on the bids received, an award for the purchase of the Ford Tractor be made to Malvese Equipment. Motion carried. On motion of Ed Adams, seconded by Pete Sabat, it was necessary to purchase a new tractor due in part to damage done by storm Nelson, funds are to be taken from the storm account. Motion carried. On motion of Ed Adams, seconded by Pete Sabat, June 15, 1986, 1:00 P.M. be set aside for the dedication of the new flag pole and flag at the Love Lane site. Said dedication be made to the founding fathers of the Commis- sion (John F. McNulty, Harold R. Reeve, Sr., John L. Wesson.) Motion carried. Secretary instructed to write to Mr. Laurence Reeve, Mr. John R. McNulty, Mr. Robert Bergen, Mrs. Kathryn Taylor Mr. Michael Burke, Mr. Frank Murphy as past Commissioner and Southold Town Supervisor. Secretary to contact lawyer to have Veterans' concession put out to bid with a $200.00 binder. Secretary to advertise for gate guard at a rate of $3.50 per hour. ii~.00 received from George Grattan for 1985 Veterans' concession binder. $500.00 received from Mike Hall for 1985 damage to Veterans buildings. Salaries for the 1986 season are to be: Michael Hussnatter - $5.25 per hour, 40 hours per week from May 5 to August 31 Harry Charkow to cut grass at $6.00 per hour. Commissioners are to look into unemployment insuranc benefits. Commissioners voted to drop the umbrella insurance because of cost. Keys for ramp at Love Lane for 1986 season to be $5.00 per family.
