HomeMy WebLinkAboutMPD-11/08/2001 Minutes of the Election Meeting of the Board of Commissioners of the Man/tuck Park District held on November 8, 2001 at the Park District Office on Main Road, Mattituck, New York, with Commissioners, Chris Talbot, Chairman, Walter Sabat and Gerard Goehringer were present, together with John Cushman, Treasurer, Gail Faircloth, Gate Guard Coordinator and Jim Cox, Sr., Labor Crew Leader. Absent: Madeline Haas, Secretary. Meeting was called to order by Chairman Talbot at 7:00 P.M., the Inspectors of Election were sworn in (Gall Faircloth and Barbara Goehrmger) and the polls declared open. On motion of Clms Talbot, seconded by Walter Sabat and carried, the minutes of the October 11th meeting were approved as presented. On motion of Chris Talbot, seconded by Walter Sabat and carried, the following Treasurer's report was approved and the bills ordered paid as shown below: Cash $ 5,116.76 Cash in Time 0.00 Cash in MBIA/CLASS $43,875.90 Total $48,992.66 Bills ordered paid: AT&T Postmaster, Matfituck Blackman Farm Family Life Insurance Co. Southold Town Cleft Gail Wickham entered the meeting to discuss the parking lot on Pike State and the sale of same to the Mathtuck Fire Dcp~t~hllent. Appraisal for the property was discussed. A general discussion was held on the lodge, and the rest of the Park facilities with Jim Cox. The new building for Veterans' Park was discussed and Commissioners are waiting for the plans from Warren Sambach. No further busines to come before the meeting, on motion of Walter Sabat, seconded by Chris Talbot and carded, the meeting was adjourned. Chris Talbot, Walter Sabat, Gerard Goehringer, and Jim Cox.
