Park District held on February 14. 2002, at the Park District Office on Main Road,
Mattituck, New York, with Commissioner Chris Talbot, Chairman and Walter Sabat
present together with John Cushman, Treasurer, Madeline Haas, Secretary, and Jim Cox,
Sr., Labor Crew Leader.
Chairman Chris Talbot called the meeting to order.
On motion of Walter Sabat, seconded by Chris Talbot and carried the minutes of
the December 13, 2001 and January 10, 2002 meetings were approved as presented.
On motion of Chris Talbot, seconded by Walter Sabat and carried all Park District
employees are to receive a 3% raise effective the next pay period (February 14, 02). The
following is a list of the new salaries:

On motion of Walter Sabat, seconded by Chris Talbot and carried, the following

Walter Sabat is to have Mark Sabat call LIPA about the lights at Aldrich Lane.
Jim Cox reported that all 2002 permits have been ordered; the door at the Lodge
has been fixed; that Tuesday morning, 2/12/02, someone had been in the building
Monday night (no one was scheduled to be there); the security system has to be fixed;
food was left in the refrigerator and was spoiled; holes were punch in the walls in the
basement; heating system in not running properly; and Jim said he had borrowed Russ's
power gun.
On motion of Chris Talbot, seconded by Walter Sabat and carded, the monthly
meetings will be held on the second Thursday of each month for 2002.
The March meeting will be held on March 14, 2002.
With no further business to come before the meeting, on motion of Chris Talbot,
seconded by Walter Sabat and carded, the meeting was adjourned.
