NOTICE OF BUDGET & SPECIAL MEETING OF RESIDENT TAXPAYERS
NOTICE is hereby given of a Budget & Special Meeting of the legal resident
taxpayers of the Mattituck Park District to be held on the 21st day of August, 2003 at 7:00
p.m. EDT, at the Mattituck Park District Office, 12900 Main Road, Mattituck, New York,
for the following purposes:
PROPOSITION I
To vote on the propose4 budget for the fiscal year beginning January 1, 2004. The
Commissioners of the Mattituck Park District have submitted the following estimate of
expenditures for said fiscal year and propose the same as said budget:

PROPOSITION II
To vote on the following resolution:
RESOLVED that the Board of Commissioners of the Mattituck Park
District be empowered to sell the following described property to Thomas J. McCarthy
for the sum of $110,000.00, in accordance with Contract of Sale dated July 17, 2003:
All that piece or tract of land with the buildings and
improvements thereon, situate, lying and being in the Village of Mattituck,
Town of Southold, County of Suffolk and State of New York, bounded
and described as follows:
BEGINNING at a point on the southerly side of Main Road
at the division line between the easterly line of lands now or formerly of
DeMaula and premises conveyed herein and running thence along the
southerly side of Main ROad:
1) easterly a!ong an arc ora curve which bears to the right having a radius
of 277.0 feet a distance of 3.45 feet;
2) North 75 degrees 01 minutes East, 23.55 feet through a monument to
lands now or formerly of Kopf;
THENCE, along said lands now or formerly Kopf:
1) South 6 degrees 28 minutes 10 seconds East, 86.00 feet;
2) South 75 degrees 01 minutes West, 2.0 feet;
3) South 6 degrees 28 minutes 10 seconds East, 4.0 feet to a monument
which marks the northerly line of a right-of-way;
THENCE South 83 degrees 31 minutes 50 seconds West along said
northerly line of a right-of-way, 12.0 feet to an iron pipe and Iand now or
formerly of DeMaula;
THENCE North 14 degrees 46 minutes 50 seconds West along said land
now or formerly of DeMaula, 86.35 feet to the southerly side of Main
Road, the point or place of BEGINNING.
Together with ~eller's right, title and interest to right of way from rear of
premises to Maifi P(oad.
Every resident taxpayer who shall have resided in the Mattituck Park District for a period
of thirty (30) days'fiext preceding any eleclion of the Park District shall be qualified to
vote. Polls will be open from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

$110,000.00, in accordance with Contract Of Sale dated July 17, 2003:
ALL that piece or tract of land with the building and improvement thereon,
situate, lying and being known as 12900 Main Koad, in the Village of Mattitock, Town of
Southold, County of Suffolk and State of New York and identified on the Southold Town Tax
Map asLot # 1000-114-11-13.

Shall the estimate of expenditures of the Mattituck Park District be adopted as the Budget
for the Fiscal Year beginning January 1, 2004, and shall the Park District Commissioners be
authorized and empowered to raise the said sum of $386,230.00 for said budget and to levy a tax
therefor upon the taxable property in said District.
