Box 1179, 53095 Main Road Southold, New York 11971 Dear Lynda, The National Multiple Sclerosis Society will hold one of its largest and most visible regional and national events, the Bike MS: Twin Forks Ride on September 10a' & 11th, 2011. This year, our goal is to have 300 Long Island cyclists and raise $275,000 to support the nearly 60 programs and services provided by the Long Island Chapter benefiting more than 42,000 people on Long Island affected with MS. The ride will begin on Saturday, September 10th on the No~th Fork. Our cyclists will stop for lunch at the Horton Lighthouse and then proceed to Shelter Island where they will be camping overnight at the Quinipet Camp and Retreat Center. On Sunday, September 11th, our cyclists will ride through Southampton, stopping at Montauk Point State Park and finishing back in Southampton. We are requesting a permit for our tour to safely ride through Southold. Attached is a copy of the route that we have planned for our riders, A Certificate of Insurance for $1,000,000 will be forthcoming.
