June 27, 1961
Meeting of the Cutchogue-New Suffolk Park Commission was
held on the above date at the home of Frank B. Rogers at 1~30 P.M.
Commissioners C.W.Horton, John E. Timpson and Frank B.
Rogers were present.
Minutes of the previous meeting were read for information
only.
The following bills were presented for payment:
Corwin Grathwohl- $97.~ for labor and materials to build voting
booth and ballot boxes
Fred Ks,lin- $12.50 for ~5000 bond of Treasurer for 1 year
C.P. Tuthill- $23.67 for putting in test well
Lillian McCall,fy- $&.00 Teller at Election
Josephine Machinchick- $$.00 Inspector at Election
Frank Rogers made a motion the bills be paid; seconded by John
Timpson. Ail in favor. Chairman instructed Treasurer to pay the bills
Letter was read from Attorney William Wickham dated June 26,
1961 regarding bond issue. Information was needed regarding any
improvements contemplated and estimated cost of such improvements
in addition to land costs, surveys and legal fees. The total
amount of all costs will be the bond issue.
Discussion was held regarding the construction of a comfort
station at the Causeway Beach. Matter tabled until further
%nformation regarding size of building necessary and cost of
erecting building is obtained.
Mr. Wickham was called and he advised the Commissioners that
the contract of purchase had been signed with the Causeway
Association and also with Mrs. Elizabeth Horton for parcel on
Bay Avenue.

There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned.
