Minutes of: Dec. 15~ 1962 Meetin6 Meeting of the Cutchogue-New Suffolk Park Commission was held on the above date at 10:30 A.M. Commissioners Curtis W. Horton, Basil D,Em~ and Frank B. Rogers were present. The minutes of the previous meeting were read and accepted. Chairman Frank Rogers reported that no reply hadb een received from Supervisor Albertson regarding payment of the balance due Attorney William Wickham. Basil D'Emo stated he had contacted Attorney Robert Cron who is willing to act as Attorney for the Cutchogue-New Suffolk Park Commission. Mr. D'emo stated ne word has been received from Walter Luce regarding the Schantz property. Chairman Rogers reported on the Dec. 4th, 1962 election. Mr. C.W. Horton received 42 votes; Walter Kaelin-1 vote. The results of the election had been filed with the Southold Town Clerk on Dec. 5th, 1962. Mr. Horton was reminded to take the oath of office at the Town Clerk's Office before Jan. 1, 1963. Treasurer reported a balance on hand of $454.18 in the checking account; $2,000. in the Savings account, plus accumulated interest and $9,312.64 in the Special Account. Treasurer D'emo presented the following bills for payment: Helen Rogers , Teller at Dec. 4th. election ........... $6.00 Jean Midgley, Inspector of Elections .................. $6.00 CUTOHOGUE ~ INEW SUFFOLK PARK DISTRICT OUTOHOGUE, LONG IE~LAND, N. Kaelin-Liability insurance on all Park Commission Property holdings ......................................... $196.69 Curtis Horton made a motion the bills be paid; seconded by Frank Rogers. All in favor. Motion carried. A bill for $1,1?l.l~ was acknowledged from Attorney William Wickham as balance due for legal fees and disbursements in the matter of purchasing the Nassau Point Causeway property. Bids were received from Chester 0rlowski and George Ahlers for construction of a comfort station. The bids were opened at ll A.M. and were as follows: Chester 0rlowski ............ $9,149.00 George Ahlersrrr ............ $9,?12.00 Bids were discussed and Chairman was instructed to consult with Chester 0rlowskt regarding his submitted bid before any final deeiston will be made on acceptance of a contract.
