MEETING- Nov. 13~ 1962
Meeting of the Cutchogue-~ew Suffolk Park Commission was
held on t he above date at the home of Frank B. Hogers.
Commissioners Curtis W. Horton, Basil D'Emo and Frank B.
Rogers were present.
The plans and specifications for the construction of a
comfort station at Nassau Point Causeway Beach were discussed.
Several change~were made.
Chairman F.B. Rogers stated he had discussed the matter ·
of paying the balance due on Attorney William Wickham's bill&~Wt~
Mr. A10ertson .t~bstated hew ould take the matter up with the
Town Attorney, Mr. Robert Tasker and would advise the Commissioners.
Mr. Albertson advised the CommAssioners that they could not draw
from other funds in t heir budget to pay this bill, as only $2200.
was specified in the Bond Issue for legal fees and surveys.
Mr. Cron of Cutchogue was suggested to actas Attorney for
the Cutchogue-New Suffolk Park District in place of l~r. Wm.
Wtckham who resigned.
The site of the comfort station is to be laid out by Mr.
Basil D'Emo.
Additional copies of the blue prints and specifications
are being made up by Mid Island Lumber Uo. Bids are to be
returned by Dec. 15th. at ll A.M. The construction is to be
completed by June 1963.
The election for one Commissioner for a 3 year term will
be held on Dec. 4th. 1962. Notice to be published 20 days
before the election in the Long Island Traveler. Election~
to fill the expired term of Curtis W. Horton.
There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned.
