MINUTES- Oct. 29~ 19&2 I~ETING
Meeting of the Cutchogue-New Suffolk Community Fund was held
at the home of Frank B.Rogers at 10 A.M. on the above date.
Commissioners Curtis W. Horton, B~sil D'Emo and Frank B. Rogers
were present.
The following bills were presented for payment:
$90.00 for removal of trash at Causeway Beach for summer of 1962
by James Mason.
$3,554.4o from William Wickham, Attorney for legal fees, surveys,
etc.
The Treasurer was instructed to pay $90oto James Mason.
Because only $2,200. f.~ legal fees and surveys had been raised
by Bond issue, upon the advice of Mr. William Wickham, the
Treasurer was instructed to pay Mr. Wickham $2,200.00. The
matter of paying the balance to b e taken up with Supervisor
Albertson of Southotd Tewn.
The closing of the ti$1e on the Causeway Property was held
on Sept. 28th. at the office of Attorney William Wickham. Treasurer
D'Emo issued checks in the following amounts: $15,000. to the
North Fork Bank & Trust in payment of the Causeway Property; $36.00
for interest and fees and $~01.3& to Elizabeth ~orton for the
purchase of the Horton Property.
Chairman Frank Rogers stated a check for $27,350.00 had
been received from Lester M. Albertson , Supervisor of Southold
Town. Check represents the proceeds of the serial bond of the
Cutchogue-New ~uff~lk Park ~istrict. Treasurer D'Emo stated the
check had been depoaitsd in a special account in the North F~rk
Bank & Trust Company ~t Cutchogue.
An Amortization Schedule was received from the North Fork
Bank & Trust Co. It wac discussed and accepted by all the
Commissioners.
The construction of the comfort station at Nassau Point
Oauseway Beach was discussed. Plans d fawn up by Mid Island
Lamber Company were accepted. Commissio~rs agreed to advertise
in the Long Island Traveler for bids for the construction. Extra
copies of the plans and specifications will be obtained from
Mid Island Lumber Company by Mr. D'Emo. Bids are to be returned
by Dec. 15th. at ll A.M. Building to be completed by June 1963.
Clerk was instructed to have notice to bidders published in the
Long Island Traveler by Nov. 1st.
Term as Comm_issioner~of.Mr. Curtis W. Horton expires on
Dec. 31, 1962. Clerk w~.s i~structed to send notice of election

to the Dong Island Traveler. Election will be held at the
Cutchogue ~ire House on Dec. 5, 1962 at ? P.:~. to l0 P.~.
Candidates are to file their n~.mes with the Secretary at
least l0 days prior to the election and nominations must be
submitted in petition fcrm subscribed by 25 qualified vcters
of the district.

adjourned.
