MINUTES- Sept. lOt 1962 Meetin~ Meeting of the Cutchogue-New Suffolk Park Commis siSn was held at the home of Frank B. Rogers at 8 P.M. on the above date. Commissioners Curtis W. Horton, Basil D'Emo and Frank B. Rogers were present. Treasurer reported the following bills had been received and paid: 12.50 to Fred Kaelin for $5000 ~ond on Treasurer 18.12 to G.L.F. for trash cans at the Beach. Treasurer reported abalance on hand as of Sept. 10, 1952 of $563.08 in the checking account and $2,000 in the Savings Account. The purpose of this meeting was to furnish the Town Clerk w!t~ a detailed estimate in writing of the amount of revenues to be received and expenditures to be made during the next fiscal year for the Cutchogue-New Suffolk Park District as prescribed under Section 111 of the Town Law. The estimated budget agreed upon is as follows: let. year payment on Bond 1st. year's interest Pro-rated realty tax, Causeway & Horton Properties Life Guard wages Custodian Garbage pick-up Baskets, hose, toilet tissue, towels, detergents, ~ecretary fees Legal notices, etc. Fire Insurance on Building~ & equipment Liability & Property damage insurance Total .......... Y. -2- Clerk was instructed to send a copy of estimates budget to the Town Clerk before Sept. 15th. Letter dated July 25, 19&2 from Attorney W~n. Wtckham regard- lng the issuance of bonds by the Town was read and discussed. Schedule "B" with a maturity of l0 years was considered most favorable to the North Fork Bank and also to the Comm~issioners. Schedule "B" is as follows: $17,550 land aequisition issue $1,450 the first year, $1,500 the seennd year, 1,500 the next three years, and $2,000 the next five years. $9,800 improvement ~asme 900 per year for the first two years, and 1,000 per year for the next eight years. $27,350 consolidated issue (total of the above two schedules) 2,350 the first year, $2,500 the next four years, and 3,000 the last five years. Letter received from John W. Mackay regarding the acquisition of Mr. MackaT~s beach property at New Suffolk was discussed. Commissioners voted to take no action in this matter at the present time as Mr. Mackay was only willing to lease the property to the town for an annual rental of $2,500 subject to a sale or a change of ownership of Robin's Island. Chairman Rogers stated Attorney Wickham had notified him that the closing of the title on the Causeway property would be held on Friday, Sept. 28th. at 2 P.~{. There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned.
