MINUTES OF Seyt. 1~, 1965 MEETING
Meeting of the Cutchegue-New Suffolk Park Commission was
held on the above date at the home of Frank B. Rogers at 10 ~A.M.
Commissioners Curtis W. Horton, Basil D'emo and Frank B. Rogers
were present.
Treasurer reported that the balance of $1,053.32 in the
Savings Account had been transferred to the Regular Account on
Sept. 10, 1963 with the approval of the Chairman.
The Treasurer reported that the following bills had been
received and paid:-
W.B. Ruland- 2 "No Parking" signs $17.50
Beinbrink Paper Co. - 2 waste receptacles 35.96
Center Moriches Paper Co. - vendor machine 17.00
W.B. Ruland- No Trespassing Sign 8.50
L.I.Traveler- Legal Notice 3.23
L.I.Light~g Co. 3.51
Center Moriches Paper Co.- paper towels 8.95
~ bill from Ralph Sterling for clearing, grading and
planting the grounds around the Comfort Station had been
received in the amount of $273.28. Bill was paid from the
Special Fund Account.
Treasurer reported a balance of $1,297.13 in the Regular
Account and $779.$$ in the Special Fund Account.
The matter of increasing the insurance on the completed
comfort station at the Causeway Beach was discussed. I~ was
unanimously agreed to increase the insurance on t he building
from $7500 to $11,$$0 and $1,000 on the contents. Mr. D,Emo
agreed to take this matter up with Fred Kaelin, Insurance
Agent.
Basil D'emo made a motion to increase the s alar,y of t he
Clerk from $150 a year to $300. a year starting Jan. 1, 1964.
Motion was seconded by Curtis W. Horton. Ail in favor. Motion
carriede
The estimated budget for 1964 was discussed. Treasurer was
instructed to g et in all outstanding bills, to pay them and to
have all figures ready for budget meeting on Sept. 25th.
The matter of maintaining the grounds a~dund the comfort
station at the Beach was discussed. Chairman D, emo agreed to

contact Ralph Sterling Nursery and find out what the charge
would be for them to clean Up the grounds and improve them.
There being no further business, the meeting was
adjourned.
