Commissioners Basil D,~uo, Curtis W. Herren and Frank B. Rogers we~o prosente · urpose of the special meetin~ was to discuss ways and means of preventing any further vandalism at the Oauseway Beach, Chief of Police, Town of Southold, Theodore Howard was contacted. He agreed to have the Beach patmoled after sundown and to p~osocute anyone found on the beach after suudown. After further discussing the problem, the following resolution was adopted unanimously~- Destrultion and theft of public property and other acta of vandalism have continually occurred at the Causeway Beach by persons unknown, it is hereby ~E3OLVED THAT~ Persons trespassing on the Causeway Beach after sundown are subject to arrest by order of the ~uthold Town Police. Clerk was inst~aLcted to send a copy of tho resolution to 3outhold Town Chief of Police Theodore Howard and also to the Clerk of the Southold Town Boarde A sign reading as follows is to be made and erected at the Beach~ OUTOHOGUE- NEW SUFFOLK PARK DISTRIOT OUTCHOGUE, LONG ISLAND, N.
