A regular meeting of the Cutchogue-New Suffolk Park Co~&~ion
was held on the above date at 10 ".M. at the home of Frank B. Rogers.
Commissioners Basil D'Emo, Curtis W. Hlrton and Frank B. Rogers
were present.
The Treasurer reported the following bills had been received
and paid~
Long Island Traveler- Ad for life guard $2.50
W.B.Ruland- 2 signs for beach 19.00
Southold G.L.F.- Nozzle, hose, trash cans, broom 27.42
W.B. Ruland- 2 additional signs for beach 15.50
Treasurer also presented the following bills for payment:-
N.Y. Tel. Co. (Season service ) $27.38
McCabe,a Store- bookkeeping ledger 8.49
L.I.Traveler- Bathing beach permits 22.00
North ~'ork Shipyard - 1 pr. oar locks 1.25
Center Moriches Pal~er co. -Misc. paper supplies 95.01
Basil D'Emo made a motion the bills be paid; seconded ~y
Curtis W. Horton. Ail in favor. Motion carried.
A bill from Dickerson's Marine for $71.00 for misc. boat
necessities was also presented. Basil D'emo made a motion this
bill be paid from the Special Fund; motion was seconded by Curtis
W. Horton.
Balance of $5,014.36 Sue Midgley & Horton for construction of
the Comfort Station was paid on June 25, 1963 from the Special Fund.
Treasurer reported a balance on hand in the General Fund of
$1,109.43 ; $1,123.28 in the Special Fund and $1,~35.14 in the
Savings account, plus interest.
The matter of anchoring the life guard s'tand at the beach was
discussed. Chairman D'Emo agreed to contact Midgley & Horton and
ha. ye the necessary work done.
W.B. Ruland is to be contacted regarding painting Cutchogue-
New Suffolk Park Dist. on the boat at the beach.
Signs stipulating "No Parking on this Side" are also to be
made up and placed at the Beach. The Highway Dept. will also b ·
contacted regarding speed limit signs.
