April 10, 1952 Minutes A meeting of the Cutchogue-New Suffolk Park Commission was held on the above date at the home of Frank B. Rogers. Commissioners Curtis Wells Horton, Basil D,Emo and Frank B. Rogers were present. Treasurer reported the following bills had been received and paid: L.I. Traveler- $11,10 printing notice to bidders Southold Town Building Inspector-S5.00 filing building permit Parpose of this meeting was to consider new bids submitted for the construction of a comfort station at the Causeway property. The following bids were received, opened and publicly read at 11:00 A.M. Midgley & Horton, Cutchogue, L.Z. William Beebe, Cutchogue, L.I. Chester Orlowski, Cutchogue, L.I. $?,59e.e0 $8,190.o~ corwin Orathwoh~, Cutcbogue,L.I. $8,972.00 Pt. Jefferson Central Suffolk Contractors P.O. Box 53, Pt. Jefferson, L.I. $9,978.00 The low bid of Midgley & Horton was considered and the contract was awarded to them, bid being $?,590.00. Clerk was instructed to write to Midgley & Horton notifying them that their bid was accented. Letters also to b · sent to all other bidders, notifying them of the decision of the Commissioners. Certified checks are to be returned with individual letters. A suggestion bY Midgley & Horton for Plastering the cOmfort station instead of painting with Kay-tire was discussed. Mr. Midgley was asked to submit an estimate of the cost involved in this change in the specifications. Work will probably begin the week of April 15th. There being no further business, the mee~in~ was duly adjourned. Clerk
