Meeting of the Cutehogue-New Suffolk Park District was held on
the above date at the home of Prank B. Regere.

Clerk read a letter from the Town Clerk of ~outhol~, requesting
estimate of amount of revenuee to be received and expenditures to be
made during the next fiscal year.
The budget for 1955 was discussed and the following budget was
accepted:

Copy of the above budget to b e sent to the Town Clerk and
published in the Long Island Traveler.
Prank Rogers volunteered t o contact James Mason regarding
the Job aa Custodian for the 1965 season at $550.00 for the season.
Contraet to include cleanimg the beach; cleaning the comfort
station daily; removal of rubbish and all inside and outside
painting of the building; also painting the life guard stand.
The paint to bc purchased by the District.
The Aanual Election will be held on Tuesday, Dec. lat. 1954·
Term of Corwin ~rathwohl expires as of Dec. 31, 1954· Mr.
Grathwohl agreed to run for election.
A set of rules for the Lifeguards was discussed an~ will be
set up for use in June 1955.
Commissioner Orathwohl read a letter he had written te H.F.
Siehop, Comm~. Public Works, Yaphank, L.I. en June 25, 19&4. Ne
reply had been received to date. Letter concerned dredging at
·oard Waters Cove, Cutchogue, L.I. Clerk was requested to make
copy of the letter~ Mr. Grathwohl will take the matter up with

Southold Towl Supervisor Mr. Albertson, who will be asked to da
what he can in the matter.
It w as unanimously decided that in t ho future all plumbing
work be done by local plumbers. Mr. ~rathwohl will oontaot
Preston Tuthill and Mr. McNish to see who is interested in doing
the work.
Yt was decided to erect ~ benches at the beach. Mr. Grathwohl
will get estimates of the cost. Shelves are also to be built in
the store rOO~e
The Frank McBride property at the Sound was discussed. It
wan decided to have the property appraised by Fred Xaelin, a local
real estate man.
A favorable report on the condition of the Beach and Comfort
Station was received from the Comuty Board of Health.
Commr. Grathwohl stated that new bilges were needed on the
screen doors of the comfort stalon. Also, since it was imp~ble
to keep sigr~ from being stolen , it was decided to paint the word
"Men" and "Women" over the doors of the comfort station.
There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned .
