A meeting of the Cutchogue- New Suffolk Park Commission was
held on the above date at 9:30 A.M. at the home of Frank B. Rogers.
Commissicners Corwin Gra~nwohl, Robert Rehm and Frank B. Rogers
were present.
Minutes of the previous meeting were read.
Treasurer Frank Rogers reported a balance of $3,b89.70 in the
Regular Fund and $194.75 in the Special Fund.
The following bills were audited a nd approved for payment:

A letter from the Suffolk County Civil Service Commission date~
July 21, 1966 was read. It stated "that as a special district of the
Town Government, all employees o~ the Cutchogue Park Dist. are under
the Jurisdiction of the Civil Service Commission. I$ is necessary,
before payment of salaries to any employees can b · made, that the pay-
roll itself be c ertified by this department". For~s which had been
included were filled out ant signed by the Chairman .After the letter
and forms were studies by A~orney Cron, they were mailed to the ~iwil
Service Commission at Riverhead.
Mr. GrathwOhl stated Attorney Cron is trying to get a deed from
the Town Trustees for tn, newly dredged filled in area on the west
side of the causeway rosa. It was agreed that the Cutchogue-New
Suffolk Park District would gave the To~n of Southold permission to
build a road to t~e west.
The damage and theft at the Beach was discussed. The window and
screen had been removed from the building and stolen; also stolen
were two dispensers. Mr. Grathwohl willAeport the damage to the
insurance agent and will also contact John Haurus to repair the window.
There being no further business, the meeting adjourned.
