Minutes Nov. 20, 1967 M~etin~
A meeting of the Cutchogue-New Suffolk Park Commission
was held on the above date at the home ef Frank B.nogers.
Commissioners Robert Rehm, Corwin Grathwohl and Frank
Rogers were present.
?reasurer Frank Rogers stated that the following checks
had been drawn since tlxe September meeting:
State Social Security Agency- $ 60.52 (8. S. for lifeguards)
Dist. Director of Internal Revenue- $102.00 ( W. Tax)
L.I.Ligh~ng Co. $ 2.~6
N,~.Telephone Co. - $22.92
Balance on hand to-date $3,1~5.94 in the Regular Fund
and $119.90 in the Special Fund.
The following claims were audited and approved for
payment to-day:
Fred Kaelin$ 27%.00 (Liabilty Insurance)
Prestom Tuthill- $ 12.00 ( drain plumbing)
James Mason $ 100.00 ( removal of rubbish at Beach for 1967)
Clerk stated notice of the Dec. 5th. election had been
sent to the L.I. Traveler for ~publication and had been
published in the Nov. 16th. edition and would be repeated in
the Nov. 22nd. edition. Corwin Grathwohl, whose term expires
on Dec. 31, 1967 stated he would not run for re-election.
Helen Rogers and Jean Midgley were approved to work as
Inspector and Teller at the election.
Clerk read a letter from the Cutchogue Chamber of Commerce
urging purchase of water front property for the use of Cutchogue
residents. No scion was taken.
Frank Rogers agreed to comtact Supervisor Albertson and
~upt. of Highways, Mr. Dean regarding the building of the road
at the Causeway Beach.
There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned.
