Minutes ef Jam. %~ 1968 Meeting A meeting of the Cutchogue-New Suffolk Pare Coznissiom was held on the above date at 5:30 P.M. at the home of Frank B.~ogers. Cow,,issioners Robert Re~m, Corwin Grathwohl and Frank Rogers were present. Minutes of the previous meeting were rwad. At the Dec. 5, 1967 election, Patrick Gorman of Cutchogue had beea elected to serve a 3 year ter~ aa Park Commissioner . Certification had been mailed to the Town Clerk on Dec. 6, 1967. Patrick Gor~an orated he had taken the oath of offioe at the Town Hall on~l~~-~ ~-~_.-~ ~, ~, Dul~ no~i~ted a~ elected t~ t~e respective offices f~ ~e year 1968 were: Chat~an- Robert Re~ Treasurer- Frank Rogers Secreta~- Patrieh Go~ The approval of bond for the Treasurer was a igned by all the Commissioners and the Clerk was instructed to file same witi the Town Clerk with a copy of the bond. The North Fork Bank & Trust ¢ompmny of Cutchogue was named as depository for all funds to b · received by the Park Commission in 1968. Attorney Richard Cron of Cutchogue was named to serve as Attorney for the Park Co~ission for 1968. Frances V. Rogers was appointed to serve as Clerk for 1968 at a yearly salary of $~00~00. Security Agency (S.S~ fgr clerk) $26.40 Balance on Hand in RegUlar Fund to-date- $2,439.84 and $119.90 in t he Special Fund. The matter of building and grading the new road at the Causeway Beach was discussed. It was decided to write to Supervisor Alber~son regarding this matter. (see letter in file dated Jan. b, 1968) The purchase of beach property was also discussed. A parecel on L.I. Sound on the West side of Depot Lane was mentioned. Commissioners voted to contact the owner, Mr. Harold Vincent of Mattituck and arrange to meet with him. Gorman ~romised to arrange the meeting. There being no further business, the meeting adjourned.
