issues a Ceaificate of Occupancy.
f. Evew building pe~it shall expire if the work authorized has not commenced within 12 months a~er the date of
issuance or has not been completed within 18 months from such date. If no zoning amendments or other regulations affecting the
propeay have been enacted in the interim, the Building Inspector may authorize, in writing, the extension of the pe~it for an
addition six months. Thereafter, a new permit shall be required.

Re: Annual Fishers Island Town Board Meeting
I'm pleased to invite you to the Annual Fishers Island Town Board Meeting, which will take
place on Wednesday, August 8, 2007. If you are not able to attend, please designate a person
from your department to represent you at this meeting. As you know, the Annual Town Board
Meeting on Fishers Island is an excellent opportunity for the residents of the Island to meet and
speak to their representatives on a federal, state, county and town level.
The Fishers Island Ferry will leave from the Plum Island Dock at 10:00 a.m. on August 8th and
return at approximately 4:00 p.m.
The Department of Homeland Security mandates that a list of those using their parking lot be
provided to them ahead of time, including full names and country of citizenship. It will be
difficult for you to enter the property if you don't R.S.V.P. to my office - we will forward an
attendance checklist to the PIADC.
Please contact Ruthanne to let her know if you or your designee are able to attend. We need to
know by Friday, August 3fa.

Dear Mr. Talgat:
As a follow up to the letter sent to you dated June 6, 2007, the Planning Board is in receipt of the as-built
site plan prepared by Samuels & Steelman dated October 18, 2001 and last revised June 8, 2007. The
Planning Board reviewed the as-built site plan submitted at their work session on June 11, 2007.
As you explained at the work session, the proposed drainage/dry wells and leaders have not been installed.
After discussions with the Planning Board and the Town Engineer the drainage must be installed to the
satisfaction of the Town Engineer prior to the issuance of a final site plan sign off.
In addition, please ensure the installation of all handicap parking complies with New York State Code and
ADA requirements. AS discussed, the five (5) landbanked parking spaces should be either shifted or
adjusted so they are not directly abutting the existing 24.2' x 20.5' structure.
Once the above referenced items have been completed, please contact this office, in writing so that a final
site inspection may take place. In addition, please submit three 0) copies of the as-built site plan for review
bythe Planning Board. If you have any questions please do not heskate to contact this office at
