Re: Proposed Zoning Map
Dear Sirs:
As owners of Tax Lots 53-4-44.1 and 53-4-44.2, we
respectfully protest conversion of these lots to two acre
zoning.
Lot 44.2 qualifies for retention of 40,000 sq. ft.
zoning under Local Law 9-1983 which exempted sub-divisions
with Planning Board preliminary approval. Furthermore, the
lot adjoins and overlooks existing houses located on lots
many of which are considerably smaller than 40,000 sq. ft.
Section II of the subdivision is Lot 44.1 which has not been
submitted for partitioning; located between Section I and
L.I.R.R., it has direct access to existing Greenport Water
District existing water mains as does Section I.
We urge amendment of the proposed map so that "one-acre"
zoning is retained for these two lots.
