Re: Proposed Zoning Map
Dear Sirs:
As owners of Tax Lots 53-1-9 and 53-3-2, we
respectfully protest conversion of these lots to two acre
zoning. Because the lots are contiguous to and overlooking
existing houses built on plots as small as 1/4 acre or less,
conversion to two acre lots would be incompatible with
existing conditions. Moreover, the area is already served
by the Greenport Water District so that private wells are
not a factor requiring density reduction on these two lots.
We urge amendment of the proposed map so that "one
acre" zoning is retained for these two lots.
