RE: Proposed Light Business Zone
Please consider this cu,,,~n_ication an expression of my
adament opposition to the proposed light business zone of
property on CR Rd. 48, Peconic.
I am the owner of a BI zoned parcel on the south side of the
road, SCTM 1000/069/04/0021.
The surrounding area is largly agriculture. The area is serviced
by a 4 lane highway. To deprive those of us who presently own
property zoned B1 is to impose a unique hardship on the owners
by depriving them of the use designated prior to the present
"Zone Hysteria". It would also do a grave dis-service to the
residents of the town in abandoning the use so designated for
service to the public for many years.
I strongly urge the board to turn thumbs down on the "L.B."
designation.

Dear Sir,
I am the owner of the building at 5175 C.R. 48
in Mattituck. You may know it as the old Mattituck
Nachine Shop run by Gene Csicsak. It is located about
300 ft. east of Love Lane on the north side of Route 48.
I notice on proposed Master Plan a zoning change
from B 1 to R.O. is contemplated.
I would be very unhappy with the prospect of this
change since it was bought as business property and
rezoning to R.O. would be a down zone and as a result
would depreciate in value.
Please consider some of the hardships the new
Master Plan would create and make some reasonable
alterations to the plan.
