Gentlemen:
I am the owner of the property,which adjoins the La Gazelle
Restaurant,Main Road,Southold,known on the tax map asSection 63
Block 3 Lot 19.
I have renovated the building and would like to use it as a
real estate office. I have tried to keep the character of the
building and improve the appearance. On the new master plan map
it is zoned O.R. I am attaching a letter from the former owner
which suggests ,that it should be business zoned.
I would greatly appreciate, if in the wisdom of your deliberations
you could see it as a fine real estate office.

i ously in La Gazelle and it has become increasingly difficult
{ because of the noise generated such as the opening and closing of
automobile doors and the people yelling hello or goodnight, Some
of the tenants had motorcycles, The exhaust fan in the kitchen
, grinding and grinding, The noise during the warm weather when
the windows are open caused by dishes, pots and pans being
scraped and washed. All of these things made it an uncomfortable
place in which to live and I believe it should be used for a
business rather then a residence.
