Chairman Goehringer reported that a letter of complaint about one of the
lifeguards was received. Barbara Droskoski gave her report of the incident. No action
will be taken on this matter. However, the Commissioners will meet with Mrs.
Droskoski and the lifeguards prior to the opening of the 2001 season to explain what the
Commissioners need, what the role of the lifeguards will be and what the area of the
beach the lifeguards are responsible for.,
The grants for V, eteran~' Park and Bailey Beach sites were discussed. Tile State
Parks Commission asked if the Yetemfl~' Park is open to the entire State of New York,
asld because it is h~t', the grant will not be acted upon. The Bailey Beach grant ~rill
continue on. Mr. Goehringer suggested a l-day permit for $10.00 for outsiders which
might satisfy the N¥S Parks Commission. This was not acted upon by the
Commissioners.
A weed wacker was purchased for $285.00 to handle the grass at Wolf Pit Lake
on the west side adjacent to the Tuthill property.
It was suggested to build a CCA wall 40 to 60 feet west of the drain so thal no one
call drive in and also to give access to the lake.
~Commissioners agreed that all the sites should be closed up by the beginning of
October.
New Building: Mr. Sandbach is to apply for all the necessary permits needed
from DEC and the Health Department. The Health Department is requiring a test boring
so Mr. Sandbach is getting in touch with Mark MacDonald to do the boring. Mr.
Sandbach is to do a site plan.
